Notwithstanding implementation of these and other precautions, due to the highly contagious nature of the virus that causes COVID-19, the risk of exposure cannot be eliminated and therefore attendees must assume the risk of virus exposure.
In light of financial commitments associated with hosting TABS Annual Conference, subject to the following, TABS will not be able to issue refunds to attendees within 30 days of the event. Requests for refunds more than 30 days before the event may be submitted in writing to TABS and in all circumstances are subject to a $100 processing fee.
Attendees may at any time prior to the event transfer registration to another staff member of the school for the 2021 Annual Conference, or may receive a credit on behalf of the school to be used to attend TABS 2022 Summer Institutes or Annual Conference without incurring a processing fee. Requests for refunds within 30 days prior to the event by persons whose attendance is prohibited under these procedures, and those who experience non-Covid related medical emergencies, will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis with pertinent documentation. No weather-related refunds will be granted.
Pre-conference workshops, excursions, and other event add-ons are non-refundable, but may be transferred to another staff member of your school or organization.
Heads Dinner purchases are for heads of school and/or their guests, and are only refundable at least 45 days out from the dinner.
Sponsors and Exhibitors may, at any time prior to the event, elect to transfer their in-person sponsorship to a virtual experience, with any remaining balance held as a credit towards a TABS future event in 2022.
